Over the Moon - Reading Club - Week 7
1 user likes thisWeek 7 (Aug 12-16) Over the Moon Summer Readers, can you believe it is week 7 of exploring space? This week we're learning about moons! Did you know that other planets have more than 1 moon? Each planet has its own moons that are different than the one we see on earth. This week we will create our own moon landers to see if we can explore the moon ourselves. We are learning about Moons through Indigenous author Cathy LeBlanc's story "Mi'kmaw Moons". The books this week are a mix of fun, like "There Was an Old Astronaut Who Swallowed the Moon" by Lucille Colandro and educational books like "The Moon Changes Shape" by Kathryn Beaton.
